CNA Training Dress Code

Dress, grooming, and personal hygiene standards contribute to the morale of all students and affect the image of Sokol HealthCare Training. CNA students are expected to present themselves appropriately.

Sokol HealthCare CNA training students must adhere to the following dress code requirements:


General Guidelines for clinicals include the following:

  • *Red or royal blue scrub top while at clinicals
  • *Red or royal blue scrub pants while at clinicals
  • White or black shirt may be worn under uniform top if needed.
  • Clean, closed toe, rubber soled shoes (no clogs)
  • Watch with second hand; no other jewelry except post ear earrings and wedding bands.
  • Sokol HCT issued name tag worn at all times.
  • No excessive makeup, perfume, or scented lotions.
  • Finger nails and facial hair should be neat and trimmed
  • Long hair must be pulled back and secured.
  • Clothing must not be tight fitting, be clean, and with no excessive wrinkles.
  • Any large or offensive tattoo’s/piercings, must be covered.
  • Cell phones are NOT part of the dress code and will not be allowed in the clinical facility for any reason.


To ensure a professional look as a group students wear only red or royal blue scrubs,  pink, burgundy, or navy scrubs are not permitted. If not purchasing your scrubs through the training center, your scrubs must be approved by the program coordinator. 


Please Note: Failure to comply with Sokol HealthCare Trainings dress code will result in the student being dismissed from the classroom/ Grand Blanc clinical site and will count against their attendance as identified in the attendance Policy for this course.
