About Us

We are privately owned & operated by Michigan Registered/Licensed Nurses, Doug & Stephanie Sokol. While owning a home health care company we recognized a growing demand and need in our community for affordable, quality, hands-on training for nurse aides and First Aide/CPR/AED courses. In response to not only our community needs, but state wide needs, we opened  our grand Blanc location in 2019 Sokol HealthCare Training, our first State Certified Nurse Aide Training Program offering First Aid/CPR/AED certification courses.  Seeing a continued need for quality trained CNA'S  in our neighboring county and having clients driving long distance to attend our program, A  2nd location in White Lake,  on the beautiful campus of New Hope Home For the Aging was opened. This brand new site became state licensed in November of 2024. Which ever location meets your needs, we provide a relaxed atmosphere where students can learn without fear of judgement or failure..

The owner, Stephanie has been a nurse for 35 years and became a nurse aide at 19 years old. She is a Primary instrutor at both locations and is very involved in all classes. Stephanie specializes in nurse education, management and leadership.

One of our supplemental instructor's Doug  is also an owner. Doug is a veteran of the Gulf War and has 16 years of nursing experience. He specializes in skilled nursing, nursing education and supervision. Doug like Stephanie is also hands on and very involved in all classes.

There are other supplemental instrulctors and office personel  at both locations that will assist you through this new adventure.  You will have guidance every step of the journey and we will answer any questions along the way.  We are here to serve  the needs of our community while providing quality  affordable education that is , fun, understandable, and un-intimidating.
